Late fall bear hunting

Unread postby Freelance Bowhunter » Sun Mar 07, 2021 3:36 am

This topic comes up quite a bit so I did a video covering my thoughts on hunting the later part of the bear seasons.

Late fall depends what state or province you are
would not going to work here in northern Ontario, way to many moose, grouse, duck hunter, and fishermen

Here in northern Wisconsin I am a bait sitter, by mid to late september we are In full swing of bowhunting for whitetails, grouse, waterfowl, and hounds running bears. With that being said some of our biggest bears have came after October 1st.
In WI I personally think the last 2 weeks of the season are actually your best chance of putting a big bear on the ground.

No sponsors. No camera crew. No team. Just me and my bow. And that’s the way I prefer it.
