100% public only.
On my deathbed, I will receive total consciousness. So I have that going for me, which is nice!

Hasn't always been 100% for me, but at this point it is 100%.

I am always open to that opportunity though, it just hasn't presented itself.

I’ve hunted about 7 times this year (Oct 1 opener), and they’ve all been on public. I’ve seen some does and one small buck, but it’s been tough, and the pressure hasn’t even started to ramp up yet. The ridge I scouted in February that looked great had two stands and no deer sign, so I set up blind elsewhere and got lucky and saw some deer. But come November 1st, it’s a gd circus 7 days a week, so I switch to hunting my small pieces of private. When I pay off my current farm, I’m going to start saving up for another one. I’m not ashamed to work hard and purchase a property that I can pass down to my kids, all while building equity that might otherwise be wasted. But I also think it’s foolish to think I can buy a place big enough to hunt that I can hunt the entire season.

Mostly public but have started to add more private to the mix.
