Not sure if this has been done recently, but would be curious to see the output on this.

I voted hang on. While all are fine tool. For me a hang on works in all situations. The others are specialty gear. Ground hunting is dang sure the cheapest and safest. But for me the benefit of being in the air is worth the cost and effort.

Highly dependent on terrain! Given tree selection, ill choose a climber all day

I can set up really fast in a climber. But climbers won’t go into any tree like a hang-on can.

I hunted out of a climber for years. Have only used it onc or twice a year for the past 5 years. A hang on gets me almost everywhere I want to go. In some instances the ground game is simply the best option, especially in very thick timber swamps.

Mainly saddle now but always have my leafy jacket / headcover in the pack if the situation calls for a ground sit . I have one spot with a small pine tree I prepped that I will need to use my Assault hang on in .

I voted hang on, I have a saddle and used it a few times. But when I'm going in for a kill I always seem to grab the lone wolf assault ll and move in. That may change sometime but not this year lol

First and last for me .... but I chose one option: hang on as that's what I do mostly. Ground is for sure my second most used method

I voted ground, although it’s harder to get away with some things, I love the freedom.

Lately I’ve been scouting in my ghillie and setting up on the best sign, and then picking a kill tree for later/next year.

I’m thinking (not proven yet) that I will spend less than 30% of my “hunt able” days in a hang on, and 70% scouting or on the ground observing and other things.

I also venture to guess that the 30% in a stand will be the most successful because I have a plan, and good intel.

But I’m in my first year of refining my own style. So far it’s a lot of fun for me!

Comfort wins for me. Climber. I will use the other methods when I need to.

I voted climber, hunted from hang-on/sticks, climbers for years and for the woods I hunt the climber is the way to go.

I am probably 80 or 90 percent ground the rest is now in a saddle. I never liked climbers or ladders. I used preset hang ons for years.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...

I had to choose ladder, ground or climber. Chose ladder cause I feel safe and am elevated.

Not exactly for evening hunts or scout and hunt hunts. But safe, secure, comfy.

I voted saddle, but I spend just as much time hunting from the ground. Id say its 50/50 between those two for me.
