Re: Think I just found a TN booner.
Just got home only saw a doe today.
Rechecked the photos on big screen and its just crazy. Several of the bucks were bigger then I thought. I was viewing on a 3 inch screen before.
The booner appears on big screen to be a mainframe 12 may only be a 11. I can't see right side very well.
I had a 150 inch 10 point on cam that I somehow missed earlier. I was so paying attention to the giant I just overlooked a nice 4 year old 10.
Really want to show you guys pics but I know lurkers exist. Hopefully you will see one of the 2 big shooters soon in kill zone.

Doesn’t have a sticker off the left base and 25-26” main beams with 5-6” brows does it?
Are you hunting west ,middle or east tn??
I have not seen that many 10 points in this area only one . Their is a 9 point. And some basket racks.
The booner appears to be a mainframe 12. Though from my pics I can't see his right side in full may be only a 11.
His left side has 6 points.
I see no sticker but I only got 2 pics of him viewing his left side.

Yeah, like someone else said earlier, post pics AFTER you kill him.

Rule #1. If you see a Booner........
Rule #2. It’s not a Booner unless you officially enter it as such.
Now get out there and kill it so we can all see this thing.

Re: Think I just found a TN booner.
Been cyber scouting the area.
Planning to grid attack it like Dan did in chasing down a dream video.
I have been planning about a 2 square mile surrounding this cam pic location. I'm not sure which direction his home range goes.
In a distance their is some private.
Will probably take me a month to cover all the spots.
I definitely have my last 2 kill locations to sit this year. And a few other spots that look great the giant i found last year and the area surrounded by swamp.
Were allowed 2 bucks here in Tn so if i get a nice 140 plus I'm going to take it. Several of them are around. Not planning on shooting anything smaller then the 8 I got last year not sure what he scores prob 120 but I dunno. Like Dan says goals definitely change day to day..
Woke up at 2am thinking about this buck.
It seems to be causing me sleeping problems.
A cup of coffee and 5 hour energy to get the old body going.

Not sure if i would enter it i don't hunt to be in a book. I definitely agree with being tight lipped about it. Last night I drove my backup car and parked a mile and a half down the road and parked in a hidden spot.
Only saw a doe.

Re: Think I just found a TN booner.
Will you shoot any other deer? I guess it's kind of a non-factor though because you get multiple bucks tags right?
In a one-buck state I'm always amazed at the guys that can dedicate their season to a single deer. Not a farm animal with a name and 500 mugshots, but a legit, wild, hunted-by-others, ghost monster whitetail. I've known of a few that were up in that 160+ range and I've just never had the dedication to laser focus myself on a single deer. It's one thing I really admire that I just don't have in me.

It is a blessing and a curse we have a 2 buck bag limit. Even if i don't get him i will be learning this area inside and out.
This is the first year I ever hunted this area.
Well I did scout part of it last year and found a bunch of hunter sign..
