Look at the posted picture of one shed I found yesterday, look at the base, so much bone attached, has anyone ever found a shed with so much bone attached? I've found my share of sheds in my time but never one this weird.
I found one with a crazy base like that February 21. It was pretty fresh at that point and the blood was still red. I was half expecting to find the deer laying near by.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
I have some pedical breaks on some bigger sheds that would leave you wondering. Usually on bigger ones where I think the weight of walking around with one side is uncomfortable and they force break it just to get it off their head. It leads to abscess down the road. I’ve done a lot of euros for folks and often time on bigger bucks I run into puss sacks under the skin around the pedical region and find that there will be a big fissure running right into the skull cavity wide open. And the brain abscess will start to do some weird stuff. We have a high frequency with that around here and I think it’s a regional thing that I found out from some published articles in the past. But here are a couple of crazy examples of what a bad abscess can look like either due to fighting or a bad break.and the one really screwed up the the antler growth.

20 collective hrs of searching,,,, finally picked up a couple today on some public. Found them within minutes of each other on the same trail entering the field.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
Found the sheds off my target buck this morning! The left side was found first, almost at the bottom of the hill going to a creek. The right side was found about 125-150 yards away. The right side was laying about 60-70 yards from a tree I hunted one morning in late December.
