Helped a Buddy Out

Unread postby Trout » Sun Nov 17, 2019 10:56 am

I have a buddy who has been struggling to find deer. Looked at a map of the area he hunts, sent him a pin, and got this message

today

This kind of thing has been happening to me all the time during hunting season since I found the beast. Learned pretty much everything I know about reading maps here on the beast and from Dan's videos, thought I'd share the success story with you guys as it wouldnt have happened without you. 8-)

Sweet! My stories tend to have the opposite effects. I went to where u said but I didn’t see squat. To which I reply: Dang! that stinks, my bad. But hey thanks for running them to me. Have to try it again next season

Very cool. 8-)

Always feels good putting others on a spot and they kill a deer. Sometimes I think I’m better at putting others on kill spots than I am myself. It’s happened so many times over the years.
