Favorite Terrain Features for Pre-rut

When going in blind, what terrain features are your favorite to look for during the seeking and chasing phases of the rut? And why?

edges. for me personally, I love setting up on river oxbows at the top and to the side. Cruising bucks just love to cut across these in the AM looking for a ripe doe that went into the oxbow for bedding. But there are so many, inside corners, parallel trails, gully/creek headers in hill country - I like all fo these because in my experience a buck will often forgo a little off wind to hit these "funnels" so they can be easily manipulated to get wind advantage and the bucks are still going to sue them.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I struggle with this time of year. Not that I dont have encounters, I do, they just feel random and I hate that. I want to see deer or cruising bucks on purpose. Know what I'm saying?
