Hey everyone. As I stated I am new to this is. I have bee searching and scrolling through page after page and I am having trouble with where to start. Looking for something along the lines of where I should be looking for beds. How to get set up on them (morning/evening). What are the features to pin point on maps. Currently learning reading and understanding topo maps. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the BEAST!! You have found the site you can learn from and the people are great!!
I would recommend you going to the site's store. Purchase the Hill Country and Marsh DVDs, those are EXCELLENT starting points. Dan also has many other items available that each will also help you understand the concepts and get you started.
Its also an open forum where many guys on here are super good to help answer any questions you have. Dont be shy, start your topics and im positive others can learn from them as well.

Welcome. In the 'deer hunting ' section is a best of thread. All time best/tactical or something similar.
You will need to be patient and let some basics sink in.
With the desire and time you can earn a PHD of deer hunting on the Beast.

You don't have to be the best, just do your best.

After getting dans dvd's, do a search for the
"All time best tactical threads"
There are SO many threads to read through. The two combined are probably the most info packed deer hunting resources ever compiled.
