Good luck Michiganders, and get well bridge.

Dont know what I am going to do today. Sitting here right now, but after almost 20,000 miles of driving and work the last three months, and just returning from another long road trip, probably going to sip some coffee this morning and maybe hunt this afternoon.

Singing Bridge wrote:I was planning on hunting the opener tomorrow... But got involved in an accident today. A woman that was texting never slowed down or looked up, hit me hard while I was stopped at a light. Hit me so hard my rear view mirror broke off. A lot of pain, but I will be out hunting soon.

I know your pain SB. Got rear ended so hard. In my F250 diesel 4x4. That the drive train pushed the motor into the radiator. Woman was still drunk at 11AM.

Go get em Michiganders. Have some great hunts!!!

You Texas people too!!!!!

Best of luck fellow Michiganders. I will be sitting this weekend out. Personal reasons. Singing Bridge get well. It's good to here strangers look after children. Sadly it's better then the parent sometimes.

Good luck to all my fellow Beast. May your aim be true.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Scott. I have had that happen myself and needed a neck brace because of the whiplash, I hope it doesn't take long until you are feeling better.

A little late to the thread, but good luck to all of the Michigan guys this season. No hunting for me this past weekend as I was up camping with my son and the Boy Scouts......and then drying everything out yesterday!

Hope everyone had a great opening weekend! I had 2 solid evening hunts, with both having opportunities at bucks, just not the right ones. A Sunday evening stalk on the way to the stand did provide a turkey. Thinking of taking a new approach this year by skipping the mornings until the first major cold front after mid October. I spent both mornings over the weekend smashing ducks. However, the weather this weekend looks interesting with a huge temperature drop. I have a couple of early cold front cruising spots that produce every year like clockwork... although it's usually a short window. Thinking of giving them a shot a little earlier this year... Going to be a game time decision, Stay tuned
