Anyone care to mark some possible bedding or rut funnels. This area has intrigued me and am gona put some boots on the ground this weekend. I like the hills but seems like a lot of roads for easy access which kind of deters me.

I can't mark it up now (on mobile) but there are loads of potential bedding spots. So many points with steep dropoffs. Some nice upper draw funnels for rut hunting. Also NW corner where all the points go down into that bottom hub with the creek(s). Major rut cruising spot. See RidgeRunner7's post on that hunting strategy from a couple weeks ago. It's titled Hill Country Bottoms Success on the Deer Hunting board.

Those are 300 foot hills, you should be able to out walk hunters on it.

Yea it looks like it has potential to me but it looks like it has a lot of road access (black lines) and it seems like a lot of the roads go to the top of the hills. Maybe im lookin at it wrong

3rd season newb here, I need some advice on spots iv have found also... but this is what I would check w a dominant WEST WIND. I would definitely check them ridges that have great looking wind spots that are looking at access trails and down wind of them also. I did miss a few funnels for ya, but that chain ridge coming to the middle from NW of the map looks really good. The trail stops before the end, good funnels, and bedding spots that would be down wind of the trial and at the end of the whole ridge it can see an access trail

The circled area looks like a really good all around hunting spot, just based on a topo. GOOD LUCK!

The red lines are where you should focus in on beds.

really both. You will find the trails going around the points like that. If you don't find what your looking for, but you do find good buck sign - check lower elevations.

Yep, I was thinking the top access might have the bucks at lower elevations.
