Haha yep that's right. Need to keep all you serious killers out of this state! Nah I'm just playing. Good luck WTA. Your not too far off from us if your going to Howell county but I can't say that I've ever hunted there so don't know that area well.

It is hard to beat the pick 'em up truck that is for sure.
Be safe. I have been traveling a lot more the last few years to hunt and more time on the road means more chance of accidents, blowouts, driving sleepy etc… I had two really close calls this past season. It puts things into perspective real quick, most important thing is to make it home, in one piece.
Good luck.

It's kinda why I maybe leaning toward a tahoe. Foam pad in the back to rest inside and safe. Next to my best friend Ruger. Thanks for the good advice PK

I did the Tahoe with a foam pad for a while...it worked great.. I miss that Tahoe. My wife wasn't crazy about the blood stains in the back from the deer but I thought it gave it character :)

Re: 2016...wow...is all I can say
My focus took me lots of places(326k miles) and got 28-32mpg. My jetta gets 45mpg+ and pulls my boat even. Its only got 290k on it, but my next vehicle will be a wagon or hatch back. Trucks are fun, but spending money on fuel instead of fun gets old. Good luck this year hunting, and hope you find the vehicle you want.

Not many wives find the hitch hauler very comfortable to sit on...Going to need a boat cushion as well...
