Curious if you can hunt all four seasons with a bow? On the info, it states there are only two types of tags. A MZ only tag and a combo bow/gun license. No archery only tag but it shows a bow only season that encompasses the whole season.

Can't answer the question but I'd suggest cheaper multi tag states like south Dakota or kansas. Iowa non res turkey tag is expensive.

Thanks Muddy. That's probably what I'll end up doing. I was just hoping to turkey hunt some where I'll most likely be deer hunting this year.

Looks like nonresidents get either a gun/bow combo or ML shotgun tag.
NONRESIDENT LICENSE TYPES
Nonresidents may obtain one Spring Turkey License. Two types of licenses are issued:
Combination Gun/Bow Licenses are issued by zone and season and are valid only in the zone and season selected by the hunter at the time of purchase. A maximum of 2,148 licenses are available for 2016. Licenses are issued by a random drawing from a pool of applicants for each zone and season. Shotguns, muzzleloading shotguns, and bows may be used.
Muzzleloading Shotgun-only Licenses are issued by zone and season from a statewide pool of 150 licenses. Hunters may select any zone and season, but must hunt only in that zone and season. Only muzzleloading shotguns may be used.

Yup, I got ahold of a DNR guy and he said the bow only season was residents only. Gotta pick a season as a NR. No big deal.
