Im the minority... I chose illness / medical. Heart attacks, bee stings, hypothermia, diabetic emergencies, Heat stroke, etc... I feel are our worst enemy and most likely to actually kill us in the wilderness.

You hit on an often overlooked point there - being physically in-shape when it comes to getting to and from a stand or dragging a buck out of the woods. I encourage everyone to start now by walking in the evenings and or exercising on a regular basis. It could save your life!

I agree wholeheartedly with a few of the others responses: Bad judgement and hypothermia are the biggest killers in most wilderness areas of North America.

I voted injury as well. More hunters end up in the ER every year from knife wounds while field dressing game than any other reason. Be careful out there everyone.

I chose Injury . . . but My biggest peceived DANGER . . .
. . . is from Bear and Cougar, as we have a large pop. around my area.
There has been 60 put down this last year.
But even equiped with a rock you could be safe ? ? ?
