R.I.P. Fanny

Unread postby Gardner Swamp » Sun Jan 16, 2011 11:52 am

My brother just called and had some sad news that there Hunting group just lost there best coyote/fox dog.If she started barking you knew she was on fox or coyote. They were out hunting today and of course she was hot on a yote and the guys couldn't get around to the highway fast enough before she got hit by a car. Her owner was within seconds of the scene and had to witness the accident :( The vehicle that hit her didn't even stop!

That's a tough loss for sure! My buddy lost a bear dog the same way this year.

So sad to hear. Yotes in Texas are known to run dogs back and forth across roadways just to get them hit by cars. They are smart.

Sorry to hear that. Being a dog owner myself I cannot imagine seeing that happen. Very sad news.
