Off. The counterbalance issue is the main reason. Also, I don't like waving around a quiver of bright fletching and arrow wraps. Sometimes I hang it on my EZ hanger. Other times I put it in my pack with the fletching inside it.

Leave mine on the majority of the time. Want to know exactly where my arrows are if I need another. Practice both ways, never really felt it was an issue. If I was shooting longer than 30 yards hunting, I'd probably think harder about it.

On, I made a quiver mount custom for my bow to mount my qwikee quiver to the riser so it doesn't bother me. This way I don't have to worry about loosing it also.

I leave mine on. I like it on because I arrange the four arrows I carry spaced evenly across the quiver which provides a nice base for my bow to rest across my lap. I like to have bow in lap/hand at all times!

I take it off. I attached a quiver bracket to my stand.
