First deer harvested!
Only took 45 years 48 weeks and 6 days!
I wanted to say thanks to everybody here for all I've learned from the site over the last couple of years.
I got skunked last year, and this morning I had a big doe get up out of some real thick stuff at 14 yards as I was coming down on my climber for lunch. I was kinda discouraged, but I thought about what Dan said regarding being patient and sticking to the plan. So a special thanks goes to Dan for all the hard work you've put into this site and helping newbies like me!

Congrats, but where are the pics?
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Re: First deer harvested!
not really pic worthy imo... didnt end up being quite as big as I thought. Probably a 2 1/2 year old or so.
Still pumped I got one so early. Even happier that my new neighbor (I just moved in a couple months ago) and his son helped me find, drag, and butcher it!
