Fur Prices

Unread postby Sam Ubl » Sat Dec 11, 2010 5:35 am

What's the going rate these days for whatever region or state you're familiar with?

I heard something like, Raccoon pelts harvested in late Autumn - winter, are going for up to $25 per. If that's the case, look out city dwellers, this guy might be on the prowel for those monsters!

Any relation to coloration? Darker or lighter pelt, more or less money?

Really? You brought whole frozen animals in and got that much? That's awesome!! What difference would it make to skin them out, roll the hides and bring them in that way?

i did put them into the freezer but i took them out a few days prior and let the thaw and combed them...i think if you skin them out you get a another buck or two..
