Finally found my first shed of the year. I've got two deadheads as well.
When I first saw it on the ground I thought it was much larger than it is, but due to the short G2 and lack of a brow it is only just above 55" At least it's a decent antler to start off the year!
I found it just inside a pine thicket coming out of the little swampy area I'm standing in

Yep! I found 27 last year. My goals this year are a find that has a 70" side (head or shed, idc) and 50 sheds. Hopefully I can pull that off. I didn't start 'til March 1st last year.

Cool.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

It's a last year shed. I found it in a dang good spot on public land. It is a little marsh (5-10 acres) surrounded by overgrown clear cuts that and is pretty dang hard to get to. I've never found the amount of deer sign I did today on that particular public land as far as trails and tracks go.
