Cooler and windy today. Don't get no better than that for me. It's time to grab the bow and go.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Extreme northern WI may see a dusting of snow Friday morning.

Don't think I'll be able to make it down before 3 on Friday for an afternoon sit. Its the wind I like but I would still have a decent walk in to get to my stand which would leave me about a 2.5 hour sit. What would you guys do. Go to a good spot with the wind you like for a 2.5 hour sit or wait and hope for another good day?
I'm not liking the looks of the week after. I'll be hunting Tuesday through Sunday and it looks like a warm front is coming in Thursday. Not what I like to see when I won't be back until Gun season November 21st.

The big boys are getting on their feet in northeast Iowa...I saw two big bucks nosing around feeding does this afternoon driving home, my brother had an encounter with a big buck doing the same thing. Now is the time to punch that tag on a target buck before movement becomes more random!

Looks like it may struggle to hit 40 here on Friday and then back near 60 by later next week.
