Big bear

A huge bear was taken near Odgensburg on sunday night. It weightd 780 lbs. Live weight . That's in Waupaca county in wi. Looked like a small car.

Saw it on the news last night. Absolute Slob! Based on the interview with the hunter, they ve been after this guy for awhile. I wonder how old that bear was?

NOt sure the process on aging a bear, but I've read that the DNR usually responds in 1-1.5 years. However, the news story says 12 yrs 780# bear. Absolute giant bear! Congrats to the hunter on such an achievement.

Very nice Beast. I have seen some young bears reach enormous weights, all depends on what they have to eat, down in Zone C where this bear was shot there is a smorgasbord (corn) of goodies available to them.
