Highway Shed

Unread postby G3s » Sat Apr 05, 2014 2:57 am

I was out in Minnesota Sun-Tues visiting my mom while she is in treatment at Mayo, when I left Rochester and was heading back towards LaCross I was running along at 70 mph when I could have swore I saw an antler in the median of the freeway....so of course I had to turn around to see. Sure enough I found this right side to a decent 8 point. It was a welcome uplift to an otherwise very un-fun trip.

Nice.

There are like five dead bucks along the interstate on my drive to work. I always want to stop and grab their antlers but would feel pretty weird about doing that, probably not legal either. A shed though, thats a good eye!

Hope your mom is doing well. Nice find.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Very cool g3. I actually know where one is laying in a field right now off the highway now. It's private ground so I haven't bothered with it but looks like a decent shed. Congrats on your find
