Scouted with the Muzzleloader today

Unread postby OH nontypical » Sun Jan 05, 2014 1:19 pm

Muzzleloader season started here in Ohio today so I took the chance to scout with a gun in hand. Continued to scout out a big piece of public I have been studying. Found this group of doe beds in one of the places Dan suggested i look. Walked a bunch in hilly country. I am whipped. Still have several more bedding areas to check out on that property.

Can't see the pic.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Scouting with a gun in your hand is called hunting, lol.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

When I hunted Ohio, it was some rough country. It was all up and down. Hardly no flat spots. Enjoyed my stay while I was there.
