Today I'm Quitting My Job For Deer

Unread postby Haus86 » Sun Oct 06, 2013 2:44 am

I wanted to share a great story with you guys. My buddy, Mark Kenyon, has been working really hard pursuing his passion. Friday was a big day for him, and he wrote up a great article about his journey.

Cool story.

I didn't find any inspiration to quit my job though. While I challenge it every day, the comforts of a good job and the security that it provides to my family far outweigh my passion for outdoors. Its a tough road in the outdoor industry. I wish him the best of luck.

Good luck to your friend. I definitely work too much and for sure should make more time to hunt. But I would never quit my job to hunt. Aside from the fact that I find my work rewarding, hunting is too much of a passion to me, to turn it into a profession.

But if that's his dream then God Bless!!!

I live for the hunt, But couldn't hunt for a living. If hunting became my job. I don't think I could live with my self. I wish the guy the best and all the success. But hunting to me is a release of my daily stresses. If it did become a way to make a living, it would just be another job.
