You're right! I mentioned something to that affect while we were on the field. I kept repeating that I'd never forget seeing a barage of straw thrown into the air as the boys threw they netting from their faces and upper torsoe. Seeing everyone sit-up in unison was really neat and in some ways, it made it a little hard to concentrate on pulling the trigger - I would have almost rather watched it all go down. Very neat hunt.

sounds fun sam. i hunt canadas later in the year when the migratories get here and we use layout blinds and hunt in winter wheat as well. I love field good hunting on a very cold day.
