Any advice?

Unread postby dennism » Thu Mar 21, 2013 1:36 pm

I'm going to be able to get out of the house for a little bit on Saturday and since my last scouting job didn't turn up anything. Can you guys help me out on this one? :D

There's farm fields to the south and east. Oaks to the west.

that area has a lot of potential, especially if the hunting pressure isn't bad... points, islands, good transition lines...

There is more potential than what I've marked. The yellow = point and transition areas to check. The red = potential bedding

My advice, if time is limited, is to start with walking the transition lines of one of the points (yellow) looking for bedding along the edge, or more likely just off of it. Concentrate on figuring out that point and the potential bedding and then move on. If you have lots of time to check multiple areas those islands and their transition lines hold a lot of promise. Look for bedding on the prevailing downwind side or just off of that side.
