bedding area question

Here is a small strip of state land that I hunt. It is only myself and one other guy that hunt this strip. The open area along the lake shows signs of deer bedding in the thickets. I have no idea if these are day or night beds or what the deer are feeding on here. Where should I look to set up?
I have had success on the west side of the road on a ridge in the swamp.

Its hard to see whats going on in that picture... I would say deer should be bedded along the transitions along the edge of that opening and in brush clumps within. I would need to zoom in a lot closer to give you a better answer.

I would also block out coordinates, forest and road names so you don't end up with unwanted company.

Thanks for the advice. I never thought of that. I am in a pretty controlled area because of TB. No baiting like the rest oif the state is allowed. The deer are here but no trophys and most of the lakefront property owners feed them to add to the UP NORTH experience. Most of the deer I have killed are filled with corn and I don't know where they are eating it.

During gun season there were thirteen guyse hunting probably 18 acres along the lake. I backed out and had chili and watched football.
