Mature Bucks Bedding in Corn

What's your belief? Yes, no?

Most importantly, why do you believe that?

I think this is one of the bigger disagreements I find amongst my circle of hunter friends.

Mature bucks definitely bed in corn (I've seen them). One of the safest places they can be. Do all mature bucks bed in the corn, no.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

What's your field to woods/cover ratio out there?

Ag ground covers about 30,800,000 acres, timber covers about 250,239 acres.

In my experience living in wisconsin, I find that most mature bucks don't bed in the corn, but often along the edges in the brush

I have seen bigger bucks bed in corn... usually in a drainage area with grassy cover
