Just a few snow scouting related questions.
1. After a snow how long do you wait to spot and stalk?
2. When searching for beds the Dan Infalt way, what month is best??
3. What time of day during that month is prefered to scout for beds/trails etc?
4. Where do you start when looking for beds?? IE field edge and follow track and work your way into the woods??
5. Where do you start when spot and stalk?? Same as beds and follow tracks?
Obviously i am excited for some snow here to scout for next year or to try to spot and stalk! Just looking for a few simple answers!

I don't spot and stalk but it's pretty much the same as tracking on snow. I would be out there asap after the snow lets up. If it's an overnight snow I have been known to scout the roads for tracks in the dark and wait til first light to get on them.
2. When searching for beds the Dan Infalt way, what month is best??
This question is snow based so I'd prefer to get out before the snow gets too deep. I actually would rather wait til the snow was gone before scouting for beds.

Your scouting, so why does time of day matter?
4. Where do you start when looking for beds?? IE field edge and follow track and work your way into the woods??
Again, snow related, I would start at the transitions between bedding and feeding and search for good tracks to backtrack. trying to follow a track back from a feeding area is tough because there will be many tracks meandering around and sorting them out will be next to impossible.
5. Where do you start when spot and stalk?? Same as beds and follow tracks?
I have had my best success s&s hunting early morning - late evening in transition / feeding areas when the deer are up and moving.

Some of your questions make me wonder if your spot and stalk hunting or attempting tracking.
