I've had pretty good luck just doing a gentle boil and not following with bleach/peroxide.

cool....

after i bolie them i just take a rag and damp the bleach on the skull and after a cople treatments of that its good to go and bone white

i just did my first one yesterday. did it on the turkey cooker outside and it was alot easier than i thought it would be. used dawn dish soap, borax and arm and hammer detergent. turned out really white and i dont think ill bleach it at all.

My wife dropped a bottle of our pool chlorine and the bottle cracked. Wasn't quite sure what to do with it, so I grabbed a skull from years ago and chucked it in a bucket with the chlorine....Just to see if it would work. And guess what...It worked awesome! skull came out pure white in a couple days. Might do that with the rest of the little ones I got laying around...
