Killed a buck in the rain.
Don't really like to hunt in the rain but got this buck on the 2nd of November at 4 PM in the rain. Center punched him and it was a good thing I did, blood trail was all washed away. I figured he would go less than 150 yards, so I did a one man grid search and found him about 150 yards from where I arrowed him. It really sucks field dressing one in the dark in heavy cold rain. Going to try and weigh him up tomorrow.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
