It will be fine .it’s all how you break it down and treat it. Grind it into sausage and I bet you can’t the taste the difference!

Got access to this 50 acres from a guy I became friends with who’s a property manager for this woman who has hundreds of acres scattered around. When we rolled through the access gate for a 1/2 mile private road leading back to it 2 weeks ago. We came upon a giant boar feeding in the ditch with a tail as long as a cows. We scouted the exterior of the property together and he said have fun. I had come upon a tremendous amount of hog sign in the back on a creek with trails/beds all around. The kinda wore trails you hunt without question. Went in during a rain storm and through out 6 bags of corn and a cell cam. Figured the corn would get destroyed and id never be able to hunt over it but at least I could draw him in and watch him. He only came at night until it started raining again, then right after a storm two days in a row he showed up daylight. In my mind, pattern was set. After a rain and other then that it would be random luck. To access the creek I wanted to go through a dilapidated trailer park and down to the creek on a N wind. Neighbor hood access is king in my opinion. This 50 acres is surrounded to the north by 130 acres of hunting land and to the east and south east of the neighborhood is 100 acres of undeveloped residential and commercial. Also king in my opinion is unpressured residental and commercial. I asked for access at the most convenient property and the guy (hood rat) told me he’d call the police for me asking. Lol okay. Then I went to a property owner 40 miles away and got prime access through his undeveloped lots. Got off work early due to rain yesterday and sat through the freezing storm for about 4 hours. I was watching deer, which there is a clear infestation them on this property. When right outta bedding the boar posted up at 40 yards. He was in Waist high grass/briars and this dude was 2’ above it. Put one in his lungs. Packed the meat out with a ruck

This was probably not the same boar due to tail size.
