Last second bore kill

Unread postby A5BLASTER » Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:36 pm

So went down south to vista friends and family and do some hunting.

Got up and hit the river with my best friend and we layed out a 2 man limit of ducks and was back in the truck by 8am.

So we head back to his house and get them all cleaned up and the gizzards and hearts done up and get a good duck and sausage gumbo going on the stove.

By the time we get it going the right way, it was time for me to grap up my gear and head out to a new spot he is getting setup.

So I get in there, get the blind squared away and get some corn out and then climb in and get comfortable.

The day slips away with no sightings of deer and then when there was like 30 seconds worth of legal shooting time leavt in the day. 3 nice bores come in to the corn, so I picked out this big nasty black one and let him have it.

Congrats! Those last second hogs are a heck of a consolation harvest.
