The 12.5 inch grendel pistol hit to putbin some work tonight.
Had a sounder of 20 plus come in to the corn. The sow was the first target and the bore caught the same bullet when it went through her. Both dropped dead on the shot.
Then the sounder started heading out from my left, so I just held steady and let them cross and has they filled my sight I squeezed the trigger, hit 4 more possible 6. They made it off the food plot and down into the creek, so there they will stay till tommorw when I got get them out.
Gutted the sow and put her in the chest freezer till I can quarter her out tommorw. The bore got placed in a pasture for yote bait.
Shot distance was 40 yards and was useing my 120 gold dot handloads. I think the bore was getting hit from crossfire as the bullets were blowing through the other hogs as they ran past him. He all jacked up lol.

They are for sure bad now. I kind of got lazy on killing them the last 2 years due too having a knee worked on from a work injury and then dealing with getting black balled from the oilfield because of it and now their numbers are out of hand.
When I shot those there was properly 20 on the corn and god only knows how many in the creek to my left and right and the ridge behind me. It sounded like one if those industrial style pig houses. It was insane. They were so close behind me I could her them sniffing for grubs as they rutted up the ground.
Glad I had a 30 round mag in the gun.
