I am about halfway through the dvd and just wanted to say great job to everyone involved in making it. Those definately are some Extreme Turkey Tactics.

Dan........Have you ever tried any of these tactics with your bow? I understand that it would be pretty hard but who say's it should be easy....right. I'm getting tired of sitting in a blind and would like to try your techniques with my bow.

Yes... I have one close miss on film with the bow but saved it for the next DVD that is going to have a lot more bow hunting in it.. It is really hard to run and gun with a bow. You can't shoot from a laying position and such... Rat Slayer is really getting into bow hunting and we may try more of the turkey hunting with bow.

I done a fair amount of run and gun with the bow as well, picking the right set up as 3 dog said in the video is key.

The Hunting Beast theme music from the band is something to gobble about- great stuff!

Turkey hunting hasn't been much of a priority for me lately, this DVD is going to change that! I thought it was exciting, very challenging stuff- a way of hunting that goes completely outside the box. I really didn't expect much but found myself wanting to grab my shotgun and run and gun those birdies down! Thunder, lightning, driving rain and mud, sneaking and stalking...

For anyone that doesn't get too excited about turkey hunting, this is the video for you! Hunting Beasts that are into turkeys big time- this offers a new and very different perspective. The DVD gets a big thumbs up from me! 8-)

Is the video similar to Marsh bucks...shows how to hunt instructional or is the turkey video more hunts.

Thanks,
Stuart

17 hunts with both kills and misses! More hunting than instructional imo? Although most of the BEAST style tactics are pretty self explanatory if you watch the video!

Got mine from the turkey contest today and watched it tonight. I guess I was expecting a little more but it was still OK to watch.
