Should be an amusing season. Free strutter and a used DSD, went form 7 decoys to 2. Much nicer.

Nice!!
If I used that gobbler here on public land I would be getting shot at all day!!
That's a really nice looking hen. How much do those go for?

Re: New Decoys
That's a Dave Smith deek and they retail for $120. Mine is 2 years old and used thus I only paid about half, which is a steal.

That is a steal. I bought the half strut jake to go along with my upright hen this Spring. Do you ever have a hard time carrying everything in Muddy? Any system to carry to strutter in?

Casper if u look close there is a rerod stake thru the strutter and its bent into a 90• angle in the back feathers. Easy to carry.

Re: New Decoys
The turkeys in NY have been gobbling since Feb, at least that's the first I've heard them. Heard them several mornings, and we still have lots of snow here.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.
