Roosting birds in the rain
Anyone have any experience trying to roost turkeys in the rain? Its going to be showers all day here, and I want to know if its still worth the 40 mile drive. It's going to be pretty windy Tuesday morning so knowing where to start would be a huge help.

If it’s pouring and observing isn’t an option the odds are stacked against you.
Light rain or open country there is a good chance you will be able to learn something of value.

It's looking like light rain and there are some open areas I can watch.

Rain quit early so I hunted a couple hours. Didn't see any birds, heard one fly to roost. Had a few gobbles to an owl hoot on the way out but they were all roosted on private.
