Re: 1st Season on Martana >>> The NH WAY
Just a few things to note. 1, a 118 lb bear is almost exactly and average bear in Wisconsin, and Wisconsin is a " trophy state " for bears. It says what a bear really is when someone gets a " 500 pounder". Most bear size estimates are 2 or 3 times what they really are, and that is a good size bear. I got 3 bear in my life. An 83 lb, 224 lb and a 107 lb. and all were gutted when measured. That's a nice size bear.

Re: 1st Season on Martana >>> The NH WAY
Thanks folks!
Picked up the meat & cape Thursday.
35-40# of meat.
Cape went to taxi for rug & skull, @ $1,200, this will be Jake's xmas gift!
Got home about 9pm and Jake had to cook up some Bear sausage. Brought some to school to share with friends - too funny.
One proud/grateful kid, we are Verrryyy lucky!!! Keeps thanking me, brings a tear to my eye...
