The Ghost bear, most will not know of the ghost bear (video of the Ghost), theres only been one hunter that had a oppertunity at Ghost (Dewey) but things happen. He shows up around the second week of August (around the 10th or 11th) and stays around for a few weeks then dissappears, then maybe comes back around the hunting season for a short time. This year he showed ealier than expected. Ghost is a magnificent animal, he is about 7ft long, has a huge BC head, and weighs close to 600lbs if not more. He must feel extremely at ease at this bait station as I have many day light photos and videos of him. Its all in the timing on this bear, I hope I can put my skills to the test on this great bear soon.

My video from 2015. I had no clue it was him.

Just passed thru from the trail I walked in on and never stopped at the bait. He paused for a few seconds and I hesitated but it was too late then. When the video stopped he walked and I had no shot.

There bait station went cold, the Grandfather contacted me said he transferred his tag to his 11 year old grandson and they haven't seen anything. I referred him to my friend Robert Haas (Northern Wisconsin Outfitters) I told Robert the request is going to be a tough one as all 3 (Grand Father, Dad, Grandson) want to sit together. As you can see there's one happy 11 year old. Great job NWO

Another bear was shot and recovered last night by a female hunter, will post picture as soon as I receive it. Its nice to see women are getting more and more into hunting  .
