I know of people who saw some in Columbia county. But for me personally just Monroe county.

That is all good news to see bear a long ways into southern WIs. I really wonder why they don't establish at least a small hunt able population. I go through Theresa , Horicon an the 30,000 ac. Kettle Moraine S.F and never saw a track to sign. It would be cool to have more around here.

We have had a couple stroll through our campground in point. Every couple of years one shows up.

Did see one swim across the Wisconsin River. Actually have seen a huge array of animals do that. Deer, bear, coyote, squirrel. Pretty cool to watch

I saw my first ever road killed bear today. On the interstate a couple miles or so west of Sparta.

What a coincidence. I was bike riding with my daughters in the city of Tomah today and some people told us to watch out because a bear just strolled on by one minute prior . They showed us a pic.
