I am about half done setting baits and stands. Each week I am going to post either pictures, videos or both. Also a little story about my adventure for that week. Follow along....I hope you enjoy.

The pictures for this week is a bait station on private property, this is the same bait station we first captured that monster of a bear "Bus 15" on last year, so far he has not shown up. Its amazing how often these bears must check out and remember where the baits are from last year. Notice the times and dates on the pictures..On 6/3/15 I placed a ladder stand along with a camera stand and fire up the bait station. It only took less than 2 hours for this old Sow and big boar to show up.

Pictures can be confusing at times. You would swear this is an old boar, but it isn't, its a big Sow. I hope my camera isn't failing, I have great day time pics that are black and white, and then nice color photos.



These two love birds hung around all day and into the early hours of the next day. This is one of my favorite Pics, The big boar is laying down and patiently waiting.


When the first picture was taken, and after viewing other pics and the times you could see in other pictures the big boar pacing back and forth checking things out as if to make sure it was safe to come in. This is exactly what these educated bears do before they commit to the bait station.



Although these bears might not be around by the time the season starts the important thing is they now know there is a bait station here for them. I have to speculate that this is part the Sows core area.

What ever happened to Woodtick?

BassBoysLLP......Woodtick was shot by a 12 year old on opening day of 2012. He weighed in at 527lbs. His Father the year before on the same stand shot a 3 legged boar we called tripod that weighed in at 472lbs.
