The 2015 bear season quota is 4,750 and the DNR will give out 10, 690 permits. So some of you might get a surprise in you mail box soon . Good Luck

As of last Friday the Class A paper notices were mailed out. Good luck to those who applied for there permit.

There should be no problem meeting the quota . The DNR should have done this a few yrs ago to help get the fawn survival rate up. We could use a good bear harvest in zone B. Everyone says it is loaded with bear in N.E. WIs.

Too busy to check now but in zone B the kill tags were a lot lower than previous years.
The tags should never have been lowered in B. BS move because of a flawed PE, population estimate.
Overall kill tags are up because of big increase in zone C. The southern zone.
