Most of the time I just hunt evenings... It only takes one bump to scare off a mature boar for good... However, I do sometimes hunt mornings. I think with bears its real important to run trail cameras. If the cameras show its safe to enter in the am and bears are coming in mid day, then go for it. Most of the time I slip in a few hours before the cameras normally have bears on them... And normally, there are bears at or around the bait that I don't want to spook at 1st light.

I have a mixture of time on my cameras now. My season starts saturday and I am going to sit all day saturday and sunday then I'll start mixing it up.
