Manufacturing a landscape to create an almost unkillable buck

Between 40-50 acres.
Newly planted pollinator area in yellow (weeds).
Food plots in green.
Extremely low pressure on property.
Moderately hunted private lands surrounding.
To do: create pockets of more attractive bedding

More like setting up a buck for a fatal mistake. If you are making the chess board what makes him unkillable?

Unkillable by neighbors and almost unkillable by you. Proviide everything a buck needs to reach maturity without having to hardly move during the day. The trick is still being able to kill him yourself without running him off. And, being able to do this routinely on a small property just adds to the difficulty.

Until the rut. Bucks don’t care about property lines.

Very true. Another one of those "almost unkillable" caveats.

Shame you don't own to the end of that ridge to the NE. If I wanted to scout that area I'd start right there. Your food plot on top the ridge and water at the bottom makes it perfect for him to bed on that hillside at the end of the ridge. Bet he'd get some nice swirling winds down in there too.
