I'm new to the beast scouting method so I was just wondering the best places to start. I can hunt anywhere south of the line. the little circle area in the center bottom of picture is our cabins so the is where I will be staying while hunting. it is all big woods with plenty of various oak trees everywhere. the fields that are around is cow pasture. Any help would be great. Thanks

I'm trying to look for thickets or old clear cuts in the aerial which make transition lines in the forest canopies. but you're zoomed out just a tad too far to see those areas. What's the scale here? how far from your cabin to that black line? Also, what is your most common wind direction?

It’s about 4000ft. Yeah I have it that far zoomed out to get the whole area in there. Most of the time wind is nw. Early season we have a lot of s and se though. Not a whole lot of clear cuts. Mostly old forestry land. Not many clear cuts at all. Some logging roads.
