Have some areas I'd like to plant either grass seed around my house and others for possible food plots that have several inches of fallen leaves....what is the easiest way to get rid of it??? Just continuing to blow and rake them away? Burn them? If burning, what is the best way to do that?

"One of the chief attractions of the life of the wilderness is its rugged and stalwart democracy; there every man stands for what he actually is and can show himself to be." — Theodore Roosevelt, 1893

Use a dethatcher and a yard sweep to pick them up, burn the leaves. A burn off is really great for the yard. Some fire departments help with this.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Burn or disc/till them in. Discing/tilling them in may be the best option if your soil lacks structure or water holding capacity.
If you elect to burn, there is a ton of good information on the web on how to do it right and safely. Many on state websites. You may want to work with your local fire department depending on the scope of the work.
