Ok guys I need a little help figuring this big boy out. I would love to get an arrow in him! I have his sheds from last year also. So I think it would be awesome to get him. I will post an aeriel and topo soon.

That is a SLOB

Re: 10point help
Here is the aerial. Pretty much flat central Ohio land with some elevation.
2 pink X's are the 2 pics I have of him. The one in the woods by the road is most recent. Sept 9th 8:11pm.
Yellow is confirmed buck beds from the winter. I think he may be bedding above the pink X or in one of the two spots to the SE. Or the maybe in the red circle because its close to the road on a hill and thick.
White X to the north is where one of his sheds were found. The other was found on the field edge north of that.
Maybe some of you can give me some extra opinions!
Thanks guys!

Re: 10point help
The wind changed drastically the night before your last pic. It was blowing good out of the NNE on 9/8 in Central Ohio and it was blowing out of the SW the night you got the pic. I'd wait for the right wind combination and hunt.

Wind in Central Ohio is almost always out of the SW early in the year. That partially explains why you aren't getting a lot of trail cam intel.

Re: 10point help
My guess is his bed moves with the wind... flat farm country deer are the hardest to predict bedding IMO

I'd mask your topo a little better. That is a SLOB that hangs out next to the road...

Re: 10point help
Thanks Bass!
Im gona move some cams on the corn field edge by the 2 beds to the East across the road see if he is coming there. I pulled the cam with the pic out of the creek. Maybe I should slip in there and set it up again. Its hard to set up observaition stands because deer dont come out in the fields much in light around here.
Option 2 is spot check those bedding areas for big tracks then start hunting them one by one with the right wind and maybe get a crack at him!

Re: 10point help
Good plan. As I mentioned in the other thread, I'd also consider oaks on this and adjacent farms.
That is a good looking piece albeit. I like your chances in the rut if it comes to it.

I dont have permission to hunt the big block of woods to the east where the red circle is. It dosnt see alot of pressure though. Its really thick on the side by me and opens up more in the middle. There are oaks there. Not many if any oaks in the road woods.
