Slayer Seed- brassica buffet with xtra radishes

just snaped some pics of the food plot and thought id shared. it a touch under a .5 acre. I screwed up my trail camera though i forgot to put new batteries left last years in it so only got pictures for a week before they died. but i got a picture right after i planted of an owl in good light so i put that as first picture, you can see my four wheeler tire cultipacking real well. its seems be growing well.

that 20 almost got left their. i laid it down to give you some scale then i took a few more pics and walk pretty far away before remembering to go back and get it. the rain was nice to go check food plot today.

It's nice to see all those water droplets on the leaves. There hasn't been much of that this year.

Looks nice, my plot was a bust .2 inches of rain in 2 months and the birds ate all my seed (crows). My plot after 2 months.

My plots are looking great... I will get some pic's when I get a chance. I slipped my trail cam out over one of the plots before the rain yesterday and was really surprised by the growth.

In a lot of areas food plotters were hit hard by the drought this year. Iowa is one of the places I have been hearing of numerous failures due to lack of rain. Establishing a summer planted food plot with only .2 inches of rain is almost impossible without irrigation in most cases. Mother nature can be a real pain in the but sometimes.

A LOT of farmers are in trouble this year. Some farmers in Iowa told me that the guys that put their corn in early enough to take advantage of the moisture are going to be OK, but the ones that didn't are going to be in bad shape.

Stanley, do you have any more food plot seed left?

Thick cover brassica plot.... if you plant them in narrow strips you can funnel deer to strategic locations.

i will be checking crimson trail pretty soon hopefully. this weekend im thinking. also have another brassica buffet plot small one though about 1 in tall plant mid aug. thats turned into more of hunt plot won't check anymore but checked it during the rain sunday too heavy of rain for pics. will take pics when hunting possibly.

I had enough for one acre and that plot is about one acre.
