Fishing last week

Unread postby adrenalin » Tue Jun 28, 2011 10:07 am

Fishing the last week slowed down a bit from what it was but still remained good. More kings are starting to show up now and by this weekend I expect it to make a big change to mostly kings. The cohos have grown to 5-8lbs now and have a major attitude. Alot of lost fish this weekend, but nothing you can do about it, talk about frustrating when your trying to get a limit for customers. The thermocline is just about set up and fishing will stablize soon. If anyones interested in a charter the rest of the season should be awesome if it's anything like the way it has been.

It was a good time :D . Myself, my son, and a buddy of mine went out with Russ and Gerry Saturday morning. We cruised out away from the mass of boats right away and in fairly short order got into a few fish. The action wasn’t hot n heavy but it was pretty steady all morning. We had a lot of trouble keeping fish on, but the upside to that was we got to fight a lot more fish 8-) . We did end up catching our limit, with 14 coho’s and 1 nice steelhead. We caught our last fish as Russ and Gerry were clearing lines to head in. Gerry said even he was a little surprised when we caught our limit the way the day had been going. The kid hauled in the majority of the fish while we were out there, so he had some tired arms when we were done. The trip was a great start to the weekend that ended with getting to see the Brewers finish the sweep of the Twinkies Sunday afternoon.

A big thanks to Russ and Gerry for working hard to show us a great time. The kid said fishing with you guys was better than the Brewers game :) . I would recommend Adrenalin to anyone.

I’ll see if I can find time to get a couple pictures up. Russ put up a couple pics from our trip already(Pic # 4 & 5).
