Wait till they get to go back into Canadian waters. That is where most guides go. We did one back in around 2013 out of Detroit. Guide drove straight across Detroit River and ran SE shore of St. Clair (Canada side) and we must have hooked up around 8 fish in a 5 hour trip.

So jealous, I absolutely love muskie fishing, but I don't get to do it as much as I would like. Gorgeous fish, well done.

Great job Lou. Looks like an exceptionally great day as far as musky fishing goes. Doesn’t get better than that.

It’s the fish of 10,000 casts ;)

I still have about a few thousand to go to get my next one this year.

It was me, I thought of you when we did that. And I put it was a charter, I know its not the same as DIY on musky. But you ever want to come here and try, Lake St. Clair is known for world class Musky. Seems out there you just drive around trolling huge baits fast. We bumped into a few small mouth fishing a couple different times.

 Embarassed now. I thought I was in, I usually don't assume things and sign my name.

Not a problem Lou. If you had shown your face in the pic there would have been no mystery. When I saw the location I was thinking it could be you but didn’t think you fished for musky.

I have nothing against trolling. It’s a nice break from casting all day and can be quite exciting. We caught our largest musky up north the second year trolling was legalized again. Really opened my eyes to other opportunities and we really enjoy it. We’re only allowed a single line per person while trolling. No better way to efficiently cover a ton of water.

Work is for people who don't fish.

Wouldn't call myself a musky fisherman, but really anything I can stick a bullet, an arrow, or a hook in it, I am in.

You caught the bug so you’re now a musky fisherman wether you want to admit it or not. ;)

All other fish are just bait.
