Probably.... unless I get a bigger one!
10 more days of chasing water wolves then I'm gonna get serious about filling my buck tag
For those that want to catch one.... I trolled for 9.5hrs without a strike!
That's how it is out there for a lot of guys. Slow action for hours-days followed by a relatively short window when you put a couple nice ones in the boat. Hopefully that next one is close!
Recommend Fittante out of Antigo for the replica

I used Lax on my northern and love the mount... Rick Lax is gonna be getting a call.. but wife said family vacation 1st!
I had Lax do a replica for me about about 10 years ago. He does awesome work and I will be going back if I get a bigger fish. Fittante does great work too and I know Joe Bucher uses and recommends him.
Congrats Bucky! You are having an amazing musky season!

Bucky wrote:dreaming bucks wrote:Ok Bucky............. so you can check that off the bucket list for fish.......... Now, what's the goal for a whitetail ?
But I would like to kill a 50"+ moose, start with a DIY elk or two, then kill a P&Y, 175"+ mule deer.... and the list goes on
I like the sounds of that list!!
Slob fish too! Congrats!

Man o Man Great fish there Bucky.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I'd hold off on calling the taxidermist. I have a feeling you'll beat your record a couple times before the end of 10 day window. Maybe not by length, but definitely by weight.

You should have some crazy waves out there on Sunday. Wind should be out of the northwest by Sunday. As you know, it turns into a bit of a wave pool.

Yeah... probably won't be able to go with wind
That one was 50.25"x22.5"
